Downton Abbey, series 3, episode 1, missing scene 8
CORA: I didn’t ask for this marriage, but now it has happened.
ROBERT: If he would just show a little bit of humbleness.
CORA: What do you want him to do? Kneel down and call you M’lord?
ROBERT: I just want the wedding to be perfect, that’s all. A Downton event we will remember all our lifes.
CORA: And that’s how it will be. And then will be Edith’s wedding and many christenings. We will have many Downton events. What is it?
ROBERT: I didn’t want to tell you. Not before the wedding is over.
CORA: You’re scaring me.
Downton Abbey, series 3, episode 2, German itunes version, Missing scene 1
MARY: What did you while we were away?
CORA: Recover from the wedding mostly. And mother is still here.
MARY: Oh dear.
ANNA: I think that’s all, M’lady.
MARY: Thank you, Anna.
CORA: Edith my dear, go down and tell Carson that we’d like to have tea, will you?
EDITH: You can say that you want to be alone. I won’t faint.
MARY: Well, we want to be alone.
MARY (CONTD): Did you tell Edith, what can happen?
CORA: That we’re going to sell Downton? Yes, your father told her. And he told Granny.
MARY: I guess that wasn’t easy.
CORA: He felt ill for a whole week, but he did it. But that’s it. We haven’t spoken neither to my mother nor to the servants.
MARY: Well, I want to warn you. I won’t give up so easily.
CORA: It’s only a house, Mary.
MARY: Not for me, you hear me? Let’s go down now.

You are the best.
Seriously, I’m pretty sure our followers are the best.
We’ve just reached another massive number of followers and we want to say thank you.
So, THANK YOU!
We love you. :)
For those of you who are one of our many thousands of new followers, you may not have seen a post like this before. Our tradition is that, every time we hit a big milestone, we publish a set of quotations that actually come from the Harry Potter books (which you may have noticed we don’t take generally); we choose one character every time and then choose quotes of theirs that we can sort. In this case, we went with McGonagall (in the past, we’ve done Dumbledore, and the Weasley twins).
Anyway, thanks! Especially to those of you who submit to us, as that’s how this blog runs, and double especially to those of you who are polite when submitting or letting us know that there has been an error in our posts.
